As We Wonder (And As We Change)

Submitted for my BFA thesis project at Maine College of Art and Design. What does home mean to you? What comfort and nostalgia do you take from place to place, as life moves you? As We Wonder (And As We Change) dives into this question. From Redmond, WA, to Portland, ME, and completing the transition we all go through- from child to adult, I created these cloaks that feel like home. With 16 yards of hand-drawn and cyanotyped fabric, each cloak depicts a past present and future of imagery celebrating life.
